Services

Boat Transportation to Palmar Tent Lodge – We offer regularly scheduled boat transportation to and from the property to our point of embarkation (Casa Verde Hostel & Guest House in Bocas Town) for $4 each way or $7 round trip. Boats leave Casa Verde at 9:45 am & 4:30 pm and return at 10:15 am and 5 pm (this is island time though...boats are sometimes slightly behind schedule).  Please plan on a 15 minute +/- ride each way through one of the most beautiful and pristine areas in the world.

Additional Maid Service – Should you require additional maid service please let us know in advance and we will make the arrangements. Charges for additional maid service vary depending on the scope of cleaning requested.

Transportation Services – Our managers live on-site and will be happy to make arrangements for your special transportation needs. Fees for these services vary depending on the time involved and the distance traveled. A trip from Palmar Tent Lodge to Bocas Town or Bastimentos Town costs about $5 per person during daylight hours, prices go up for trips in early morning (before 8:30 or so) or after 6 pm.

Palmar Tent Lodge is built on the edge of the jungle fronting world famous Red Frog Beach and the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. As such, it has excellent views or the surrounding waters, the coastline and the nearby Wild Cane Key. The Great House at Palmar Tent Lodge is also 100% authentic in terms of its construction – it was built by local Indians with tested and true building practices under our close scrutiny. In addition to a remote location with great views and true island construction Bocas Tent Lodge offers the following amenities:

• Potable Water from Rain Collection Our water is rainwater but if you have a sensitive constitution we recommend buying bottle water to drink. We sell bottled water in our general store.

The shower is powered by a foot pump and gravity. You pump the water up into a 5 gallon overhead container and then pull a cord to turn the shower on and another cord to turn the water off.
